Group Therapy Services

Joining a group of individuals for therapy may sound intimidating at first, but group therapy provides benefits that individual therapy may not. Group therapy sessions are led by one of our therapists with specialized training in trauma and can teach group members proven strategies for managing specific issues or challenges.

Groups provide support.
Groups can act as a support network and act as a sounding board. Hearing from others that face similar things helps you to know you are not the only one struggling and brings different perspectives, solutions, and accountability.

Groups can propel you forward.
Hearing how other members successfully overcame challenges or experiences can be very encouraging.

Groups promote social skills.
Groups not only help to ease that sense of isolation, but also give the opportunity to practice re-engaging and relationships with others.

Groups provide confidence.
Having the camaraderie, fellowship and support of group members provide a type of safety net that builds confidence. This confidence enables you to push yourself outside of the group, knowing that even if you stumble, you’ve got others to fall back upon.
